How to Donate

Donations to the museum come in many forms! Some of our most recent donations have included a booklet instructing women “at home” how to knit for men on the front lines in World War II, some railroading equipment and a box of stereoscope cards (for an amusement from over 100 years ago, somewhat similar to a View-Master).

We are interested in telling the story of all of the inhabitants of the Municipality of Dysart et al. (full time and seasonal), so never be shy about getting in touch with us about an item you feel is important. You can bring an item into the museum during our regular opening hours or if you have several items (or a particularly large one) give us a call at 705-457-2760 and we can come to you.

Of course, a museum cannot run on artifacts alone, so we also greatly appreciate monetary donations which help us to improve the museum for our visitors, creating more exciting displays, hosting delightful events and developing more fantastic programming. Tax receipts are available.

Donations can be made by cheque posted through the mail or dropped off at the museum.
